The University of Portland is very small, and gossip is more than common. As UP students, we walk the halls day in and day out, taking time out of our day just to hear the latest news about how some girl fell down the stairs in BC or how one of the teachers at our school was fired. We wake up every morning and either walk from dorms or commute from our nearby house. Our school is tiny and so are the people in it. We must know everything, were curious. We check our Facebook multiple times a day just to catch up. We must get our cup of coffee in the morning and then stand in our raincoats in the common area of Franz Hall to talk to our friends. We do not care about the weather, it is Portland; of course it is going to be raining. We care about what news we can find out before our best friend does. We want to read and be a part of GossUP.
